The two log files I have been scrubbing through are the iscsid.log and xtendsancli.log.Īnyone have any ideas? I have emailed Atto support, but their support email form only allows 300 characters or so, cant really describe the problem or include log files. I started digging through log files, looking for where the Atto software keeps its preferences and found two log files that are making me think that it is indeed an Atto problem (Atto requires installation of a legacy Java runtime - Java for OS X 2015-001). In the Discover Targets tab, clicking "Discover by DNS/IP", I get "Discovery failed:: Connection Refused" In the Initiator tab, clicking "Verify iSNS", I get "iSNS Verify Failed: Connection Refused" When I try and rediscover targets in the Atto software, I get the following error(s): I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the Atto software several times (per the instructions in the link above), same result. I had previously been running Sierra 10.11 successfully for a couple of months by following the instructions here: Im not sure where the issue lies, but I suspect is something to do with the Atto iSCSI Mac Initiator (Xtend SAN 4.01). After 24 hours (on the dot) of no issues, the mac reported "Disk Not Ejected Properly" and the Drobo was no longer mounted on the desktop. After running the software update the Mac rebooted and the Drobo mounted as usual. ![]() I updated OS X two days ago from Sierra 10.11 to Sierra 10.12, at first all seemed well. ![]()
